KB2 were appointed civil and structural engineers for the construction of a flagship early years facility being built as part the Filton Airfield regeneration zone.
The building provides 1,200m² of space across a single storey building with multiple classrooms, sleeping rooms and kitchens providing care and education to over 200 children. Designed with environment and cost efficiencies in mind, the building was formed using traditional foundations, suspended ground floors and a timber framed superstructure utilising high levels of off-site manufacture.
