Our founder, Ken, established Kenneth Brown and Partners in 1982. He was an early proponent of the Employee Ownership movement and oversaw the transition of KB2’s ownership to an Employee Ownership trust in 2015. He continued to work in the business until his death in 2023.
Ken spent a career dedicated to the design of good buildings. He always championed a close working relationship between Architect, Engineer, and Client as the way to create well built, aesthetically pleasing structures. This philosophy prevails within KB2, underlining our approach to engineering and still producing excellent results.
