1. Guide for website editor

This is the subtitle. Page titles are not actually shown on most of this website.

This text is formatted as ‘Striking’ text.

On this site we have an unusual 2/3 column layout (on screens bigger than 1000px) Some items are constrained to the three right-hand columns, others to the two left columns. We also have the option to span all five columns or even ‘window width’

Paragraphs are always 3/5 right.

Images that are set to ‘align right’ are also 3/5 right (see the first image on this page).

Images that are set to ‘align left’ are also 2/5 left – they appear in the left margin (see the second image on this page). If this doesn’t work, it’s often because WordPress has  placed the image within a <p>paragraph tag</p>. You can switch from the ‘Visual’ to the ‘Text’ tab to see if this has happened.

Below is a link with the class=’button’ added in the ‘text’ tab:

Horizontal Lines

There’s a button in the WYSIWYG called ‘Horizontal line’. On this site, the line is invisible, but it creates a space between items, and ensures that any items in the right column are pushed below the previous item in the left column.

Heading 2

Heading 2s are automatically put into the left margin. As a general rule, they should be preceded by a Horizontal line to create the gap above them (Unless they’re the first item on the page).

The below image is set to ‘align none’ and size ‘window width’.

Here’s an image set to ‘align none’ at ‘Content Width’.
