Oct 09	World Monuments Fund Conservation Work
	Ken Brown has just returned from a project in Gyumri, Armenia. Ken provided his structural engineering expertise to help plan the conservation of this fine example of pre-Soviet, neo-classical style architecture from the seismic threats existing in this earthquake zone. The project aims to provide training in masonry and conservation skills to Armenian and overseas students and to encourage a preservation mindset in policy makers.

July 09	Design starts on the new car park for Strode College, Street. This is part of our ongoing involvement with the college, which has so far seen the completion of five projects.
June 09	Ken Brown visits Armenia to inspect historic buildings in the earthquake torn city of Gyumri and assist with recording their condition and construction.
	The flagship training centre for the Territorial Army, engineered by KB2 has been completed in Mid Wales. The £6.4m centre was designed to sit sensitively between two wooded slopes, and contains medical training and administration facilities, as well as catering and sleeping accommodation.
