Frank Hodgson - Partner
Has particular responsibility for overseeing the Structural and Civils work of the design teams. Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Chartered Institution of Water & Environmental Management.

From the moment he built his first Meccano piece Frank was destined to become an engineer. After graduating in Civil Engineering at Portsmouth he worked first in contracting and then local government, before moving on to join the Government’s Property Services Agency. Here he planned, designed and managed numerous military and civilian projects, ranging from barracks and air traffic control facilities to crown courts, highways and water, fire and sewerage installations.

In 1995 Frank joined Kenneth Brown & Partners, since when he has extended his skills in the fields of building defect investigation and expert witness work, as well as developing in-house capabilities for the design of roads, drainage and site constraint and flood risk assessments.

Outside the office Frank finds relaxation in yoga, walking - including charity and long distance (he has completed the 275 mile Pennine Way 2 1/ 2 times), travel and sub aqua (as an advanced open water diver), DIY and motorcycling.
